School Night For Scouting

 

Thank you to all that attended the June "School Night for Scouting Meeting" a few weeks ago.

What a turnout!

I hope you all gathered some helpful tips on getting ready to "sign up" new boys for scouting!

We all have our own way of "roundup night", so good luck!!

Here's the "Roundup Night Guide" if you did not make the meeting or did not receive a copy. I hope you find this guide helpful so you will have a great turnout and sign up a lot of new boys.

Also:
We need to have the dates of your "boy talk" (classroom talk with boys usually day before) and your "roundup" (sign up night) if you have not given that to me or Joe at this time. Please email
Joe Hayes at jhayes@atlantabsa.org with your dates. He will need these to print the flyers for
your schools to handout.

ALL MATERIALS FOR A GREAT ROUNDUP WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE AUGUST ROUNDTABLE.

A SEPARATE TABLE WILL BE SET UP FOR YOU TO PICK UP YOUR MATERIALS (This includes flyers, yard signs, posters, boys life sample, applications, stickers)

Please get Joe the dates ASAP so the flyers can be printed.

Not sure how to get your son involved? Call me today and I can help get him started in a GREAT program. Scouting is for boys 1st grade thru 5th grade and then he will continue from 6th grade into Boy Scouts. Your son will learn new skills, outdoor activities, hiking, biking, camping, racing cars (he makes), earn awards, badges, pins, meet a lot of new friends, summer camps and a whole lot more!
